Code of conduct

1. Respecting each other.

Talk2Croydon is built on mutual respect – you may not agree with what someone has said but they do have every right to their views. Be sensitive and look for common ground. If you do disagree with what someone has said make sure you challenge the issue and not the person. Also, remember that people’s time is precious – make sure your postings are relevant and to the point.

2. Extremist views

This site is not the place for extremist views. The advocating of any violence or enticement to any kind of hatred will not be tolerated.

3. Keep it clean

Please make sure that the language you use is appropriate to a public place, and that everything you post is legally acceptable.

4. Quality information and debate

If giving information please make sure it is accurate.

Think before posting anything – make sure it is polite and clearly says what you are trying to say
