The Housing Department's Community Development Team have consulted residents living in what is known as the Green Lane area.  The area covers Golf Close/Willowtree Way to Camden Gardens/Windsor Road inclusive and part of Norbury Avenue to part of Green Lane inclusive.

The issues raised by residents are:

  • Poor community safety including fear of crime
  • Lack of youth amenities/activities
  • Lack of access to Employment Advice/Training
  • Poor quality of the local environment
  • Lack of healthy living advice

We are currently looking for residents who want to contribute to making a difference to the area they live in by improving services and opportunities. Meetings need to be set up with professionals responsible for delivering services that affect your neighbourhood,  and we need representatives from your community to come forward.  We work with residents on Council estates and surrounding areas, including freeholders, leaseholders, Council, housing association and private tenants.  For more information about the Team's work please enter our website.  To become involved please contact us on 0208 726 6100 extension 61567.
