The Leaseholder panel meets three times a year. It is a forum for Croydon Council Leaseholders to meet with Officers from the Housing Department and discuss issues relating to services that leaseholders use. Any Croydon Council leaseholders are welcome to attend.
We welcome the Mayor, Cllr Derek Millard, to Chair our AGM. We will provide details of our achievements over the past year and highlight objectives for the next year.
Following the formal part of the AGM business,we are pleased to welcome Dave
Clarke, from the Disability Living Foundation.Dave will provide background on their promotion of Independent Living for disabled people and advise on further details of our Accessible Information Project in Croydon
Bi-monthly forum that focuses on mental health. Open to service users, carers, voluntary sector and the public.
Topic for 21 May is the new Mental Health Act 2007 and also Direct Payments for people with mental health problems.

Cook it Right has completed 6 courses funded by Community development fund last year, and 1 course funded by the Adult Social Services of Croydon Council in March this year. There will be an open day on 27th May between 1.pm and 4 pm at Cornerstone House 14 Willis Rd, when participants will receive their certificates and show off their cooking to the public. It will also give the public the opportunity to find out more about other projects.
