Is promoting health important to you? Would you like to increase your effectiveness and skills so that you can promote better health in Croydon?: Are you interested in:

  • campaigning for health,
  • understanding health inequality and health decision making in Croydon,
  • discussing health promotion with experts,
  • organising health promotion events,
  • developing a voice for change.

Then become a Croydon Health Champion! Croydon Voluntary Action is seeking people - who are active in their local communities - and want to develop the skills and knowledge to become a Champion for Health. Participants will have the option to gain Open College Network accreditation to level 2. The Croydon Health Champions Programme will provide you with:

1. Information and learning sessions 2. Opportunities to discuss health with experts 3. Visits to Healthy Living Centres 4. The opportunity to deliver your own Health Promotion event 5. Access to leaders and innovators in the field of health promotion 6. All your travel and care costs paid
