It is one of the ideas that gets me excited!, I would love to see the river bought back to the surface in the park. The river is being un-culverted in the Barratt development and it would be great if it could continue through to the park. I know that there are currently flow tests to check the feasibility of bringing the river back, and I think the study should be finished shortly - would be interesting to find out what kind of river we could get in the park.

Parking a car in Wandle Park is becoming more and more difficult, I regularly have to park in the disabled bay because there are no other bays available. The annoying thing is that these cars that are parked are not users of the park, they are either shoppers who don’t want to pay for parking, residents that don’t want to pay for a permit or people that work in Croydon and get away with parking for free.
