There are many young people who are "doing their bit" for the community - I am aware of a significant number of secondary-school-age girls who are working with primary-school-age girls through GirlGuiding; these are Guides who help every week with Brownies, sometimes as part of their Duke of Edinburgh scheme efforts.

The Safer Croydon Partnership is aware that there are so many young role models in Croydon who are doing their bit to reduce crime in the borough and we felt it was necessary to highlight a few of them who are really making a difference in their community.
