think my place would be a good idea for young children in croydon because there are a lot children who will be interested in taking part , plus my place could be an opputunity from keeping threm getting into trouble and out of the streets, getting them more involed and gettin there views heard. from Emmanuel Youth Advisory Team Member age: 16

I think Myplace would be a fantastic facility for young people in Croydon as we have one of the highest portion of children and young people amongst london boroughs . There are wonderful examples of other boroughs who have already established their centres such as the Bolton Lads and Girls Club: www.boltonladsandgirlsclub.co.uk, and Salmon Youth Centre in Bermondsey: www.salmoncentre.co.uk. I strongly believe that young people should be involved in the development of the facility to ensure that the services provided meet their needs and wants.
