You will find that information on the Croydon Voluntary Action website (www.cvalive.org.uk) as well as on this website. There is quite a lot of information about the Older People's Network and the Mental Health Forum on Talk2CRoydon. I will post up a list of other networks and forums next week.

Please add to the suggested topic "What bodies/forums exist in Croydon, what to they tackle, who is involved in them, and how can I get involved in the one(s) whose sphere of interest I can contribute to?"

What about some training on the structure of local council departments, how they work, who does what and where local people can have an influence? I am thinking particlarly now as the housing and adult social services departments have just merged to form DASH (Department for Adult Social Services and Housing).
