What is there for young people to do in Croydon?

Where do young people hang out? Should there be more stuff to do?

i think croydon is one of the unentertained places for youths and children.they should have more entertainment places like a theme park, zoo, and plenty more restuarants.

i think we should have more things to do. another thing that needs to be sorted out is about the fact that all the teenagers are always destroying the park in new addington we should have more secure park with things like gates and locks.

What about the Summer Uni courses. Free courses for the summer, things like music, fashion, black history, jewellery workshops, for ages 8-25. There's courses all across London and for the first year lots in Croydon too. Have a look at www.summerunilondon.org

This idea is good for teenagers because instead of killing people they can have some better to do

Karen MichaliasKaren Michalias, Croydon Xpress Project Coordinator Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be enough accessible, affordable things for kids to do! swimming is so expensive! the playspaces are occupied by older kids drinking and smoking! and if you 'hang out' with your mates..you are upsetting residents or the police come and 'disperse' you! We need appropriate, safe spaces for us to do FREE if possible but affordable fun things!
