Black Mental Health UK - Campaign for the Removal of Innocent Patient Details from National DNA Database

This E-Petition, found on the Official "Number 10" Website ... urges the Prime Minister to remove the details of every patient who has been added to the DNA database in the process of accessing mental health services, in order to stop the ongoing criminalisation of one of society’s most vulnerable groups. Liberal Democrat Campaign - Protect People's DNA

The police have the power to take and store DNA from everyone they arrest, even if that person is released without any charge. Once your DNA is on the database, it can’t be taken off, even if you’re proved to be innocent in court. Feel free to add your name to the growing list!
