A good healthy balance between being outdoors and in doors is to be encouraged. Using new technology to encourage greater involvement in local action combines the two. Some of this will involve being in front of a PC but some will be getting involved in activities. This applies to children and adults. Jo Gough Head of Community Involvement Croydon Voluntary Action

looks like Talk2Croydon is a big hit!! The webtool is a really good way for people with mobility issues to have a voice in Croydon from the comfort of their own homes!! Also, get the kids to go and check out the kids site! www.kids.talk2croydon.co.uk.....Croydon Xpress have developed a child friendly version of the main talk2croydon site for kids to actively get involved online too! They can access a games site, look at what matters to other young people in Croydon, have a say about something that they feel passionate about! The site is bold, bright and is in early stages of development! Please get your kids to have a look and let us know what you think?
