Surrey Street Market is the heart of the town. It has been trading for 760 years. We want to keep it healthy, so we want your ideas!

Questions:-

1. Should Surrey Street be completely closed to traffic?

2. What sort of new stalls would you like to see (organic fresh food, fashion, jewellery, etc)?

3. Would you like to see a proper seating area with the fast-food stalls concentrated around it?

4. What one thing would make you more likely to shop in the market?

Croydon Summer Uni Art Exhibition The Croydon Summer Uni Art Exhibition was held at Fairfield Halls Croydon, in the Sun-Lounge Area from Tuesday 26th – Saturday 30th Aug 2008. Art work was exhibited by students who attended the Creative Multimedia and Trash Fashion courses funded by Croydon Summer Uni. The exhibition was a mixture of photography and fashion items designed and created by young people aged 11-19. The Creative Multimedia course enabled young people to learn the skills needed to take professional pictures, and think about their surroundings in a new and engaging way.

Since 1st April while the Existing freedom pass is still valid on All London Buses ,Tramlink, London Underground,London Overground, DLR valid all day for Disabled but over 60,s after 09.00 plus all passes are valid on national rail in London after 09.30 more details from www.freedompass.org NEW NATIONAL CONSESION All Freedom passes with the English Rose are valid on Local buses across England after 09.30 Monday-Friday all day weekends ask operators any comments on the new scheme let me know.
